Third Graders Sumaiyah Yang, Naila Ali, and Sumaya Elmi have finished memorizing Juz Amma, masha Allah. Ustadh Edward rewarded the girls with a class party.
It was narrated from Abu Hurayrah that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “The Qur’aan will come on the Day of Resurrection and will say, ‘O Lord, adorn him.’ So he will be given a crown of honour to wear. Then it will say, ‘O Lord, give him more.’ So he will be given a garment of honour.’ Then it will say, ‘O Lord, be pleased with him.’ So Allaah will be pleased with him. Then it will be said to him, ‘Recite and advance in status, and for each verse you will gain one more hasanah (reward for good deed).”
Arts and Crafts Club is a new addition to our After School Enrichment Program. The club is open to all. Additional forms are available at the front desk.
We are continuing Henna Club in our After School Enrichment Program. The club is open to girls 11 years old and over. Forms are available at the front desk.
Book Club starting now and going on until May insha Allah. The club is open to 2nd and 3rd Graders. Forms are available at the front desk and with the teachers.

Planting a Seed
Wrapping up the unit on plants the Kindergartners got to experience and observe planting a seed and watching a plant grow. They recorded their observations by drawing the growth of the plant every few days in a journal.
