Seattle Swedish Community Scholarships

Our mission is to provide college scholarships to qualified high school seniors in King County. We offer six scholarships, ranging from $1,500 to $3,500.

There are six scholarships ranging from $1,500 to $3,500 to high school seniors in King County that plan on attending a college or university.

Our fund was started by generous donors from the Swedish Community and is now funded by anyone wishing to make a contribution to further our cause.

[03/10/14]   Did you know that since its inception in 1968, SSCS has awarded 199 scholarships totaling over $388,000? Recipients attended our excellent Washington universities and many institutions across the USA, including MIT, Harvard, Cornell, Yale, Johns Hopkins, Stanford, Reed and UCLA.
