Message from parent Kerstin Rogers:

You are cordially invited to join a group of Adams families at the Women’s March this Saturday morning. It will be an historic moment!

We will be meeting in front of the SOAR Building (23rd and Dearborn, across from Judkins Park) between 10:30 — 10:45 before the march begins. https://goo.gl/maps/YRuAdQ4QTfk

Look for a sign that says HILLTOP as our Community Action Group is partnering with this school community. There is going to be an enormous crowd, so use of public transit is advised.

[01/11/17]   Stand up and speak out on behalf of our kids! Head to Olympia for Education Advocacy Day, Monday, Jan 16. Every year, Washington State PTA organizes a day of training, rallies, and the opportunity for parents to meet with our legislators in Olympia.

This year, Adams PTA wants to encourage families to head to Olympia by reimbursing mileage cost for the first 3 cars of car-pooling Adams parents willing to head down to the capital on Monday, January 16. Kids are welcome. Show them democracy in action!

More info can be found here. PTA Advocacy volunteers are lining up meetings with our 36th district legislators - Noel Frame is confirmed at 1:15pm and they are working on setting meetings with Reuven Carlyle and Gael Tarleton.

Email Adams PTA legislative chair Matthew Wojtesta at legislative@adamselementary.org if you’re planning on attending so we can track our efforts and offer mileage reimbursement. Thank you!
