The Language Link offers culturally rich language programs for children using complete immersion to engage students in world languages and cultures.
Art, music, drama and games guide the curriculum for our Chinese, French, and Spanish classes. We offer beginning, intermediate and advanced levels in these languages from kindergarten through middle school grades. Since our focus is on oral proficiency, classes are conducted entirely in the target language so that students are fully engaged in the language and culture they are studying. Classes are held on site at your children’s school.
Our teachers are dynamic, creative and love sharing their native languages and cultures with children!
It is so important to get them excited about reading, this article is great. Thanks for posting
Literacy Tip: Use books to address fears.
Often a book can be a comforting and safe bridge to letting a child express how he is feeling. If your child is anxious about an upcoming event or a crisis he is still processing, sometimes reading a story about a similar situation can make him feel better, or allow him to talk about his feelings in a safe way.
Is your little one anxious about going to the dentist? Read 'Just Going to the Dentist' by Mercer Mayer or 'Anna Brushes Her Teeth' by Kathleen Amant, which is a good one about general dental hygeine and how to brush your teeth. Are you getting ready to move to a new home? Try reading 'Moving House' (Usborne First Experience) by Anne Civardi or 'Boomer's Big Da' by Constance W. McGeorge [ages 2-7].

[11/09/16] This was our week of field trip to Trader Joe's. We want to thank Adam and Stacie for giving us a wonderful tour and even taking us to the fridge and freezer inside. One of our favorite parts of the tour was the cardboard box smasher. Our kids are still talking about it. Thank you so much, ¡Muchas Gracias!
