[08/31/16]   Hello BT Families & Friends! We hope you had a great summer! Are you ready for the new school year? It is right around the corner and we volunteers to help prepare for the start of school. This is an easy and low time-commitment opportunity. Here are the details:

Tuesday, September 6th
12:30pm to about 3:30pm
in the school cafeteria

to prepare Back to School information packets (assembling paperwork and stuffing envelopes). Come when you can, stay as long or as little as your schedule allows.

After the packet stuffing party, you can stay for the Meet n' Greet and popsicles in the playground. We are hoping for at least 10 volunteers, which will make this task go fast.

Can you help? If so, please send a note and let us know you will join us!

[07/08/16]   The Broadview Thomson Playground Improvement Project broke ground on June 27th! We are happy to announce that construction on the updated playground has started and will last much of the summer.

Thanks to many for the support over the past 3 years. This project has been run by volunteers, support from the BTK8 PTA, Gretchen DeDecker from the Seattle Public Schools and grants from the City of Seattle Department of Neighborhoods and the Youth Sports Facilities Grant.

From the Broadview Thomson Playground Committee Construction Committee: Bob Riley, lead; Shauna Riley, Kari Jewitt, and John Jewitt
